Privacy Notice – oathai.legal
Effective date: October 22, 2026
This notice covers the website at oathai.legal and www.oathai.legal (the "Site"), operated by Oath AI LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Oath AI", "we", "us"). It does not cover the demonstration site at demo.oathai.legal, which has its own notice, or any Oath AI client portal or product, which will have their own terms.
What we collect
The Site is a set of static pages. It has no forms, accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not set cookies.
When you load a page, your browser sends standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to our hosting provider so the page can be delivered. We do not turn on hosting access logs or analytics for the Site.
If you email us using a link on the Site, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply to you and to handle any request you make.
Service providers
Microsoft Azure hosts the Site. Cloudflare provides its domain name service only, and visitor traffic does not pass through Cloudflare. Microsoft 365 handles email sent to us.
Links to other sites
The Site links to other sites, such as our Substack and YouTube channel. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this notice does not cover. We do not embed their content on the Site.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Retention
We keep emails you send us for up to seven (7) years from the date we receive them, as part of our ordinary business records, and then delete them, unless the law or a legal hold requires us to keep them longer.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you from your emails, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to privacy@oathai.legal.
Your Texas privacy rights
If you are a Texas resident, and to the extent the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act applies to us, you may have the right to: - confirm whether we process your personal data and get access to it; - correct inaccuracies in your personal data; - delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you; - get a copy of your personal data in a portable format; and - opt out of the sale of your personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell personal data, engage in targeted advertising, or carry out that kind of profiling.
To make a request, email privacy@oathai.legal. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We will respond within 45 days, and we may extend that period once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing privacy@oathai.legal with "Appeal" in the subject line within a reasonable time after our decision. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied with the result, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov.
Children
The Site is for businesses and legal professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If we add forms, analytics or cookies, we will update this notice before they go live.
